CIARA offers advanced software services, including image management, Hard Drive duplication, ghost, or hard media load and drivers development or compilation. CIARA also support different distributions (RedHat, SuSE, Ubuntu, FreeBSD, CentOS, etc…), licensing requirements and client specific configuration requirements. For customers with special imaging or testing equipment, we also have programs available to facilitate and host your infrastructure at our location. CIARA’s Engineering department will work closely with your team to determine what hardware will work best with your chosen software. The mating of hardware to software consists of a complex network of code and drivers that allow all components to communicate. Choosing the correct parings is critical from both a function and performance standpoint.
Testing is a key component in manufacturing a quality product. CIARA works from the inception of a product design to put in place procedures that build consistency into a product. Making sure that the software functions as planned when loaded is a critical step in design and testing ones solution. While most OEMs perform spot checks of products coming off their production line, our Quality team reviews all solutions that come off our production line. Going this extra step minimizes issues that may be encountered in the field.
During the design phase of your solution we research any potential compatibility issues that may interfere within the solution. Our certified and highly experienced engineers and technicians are very adept with the design and testing of appliance software solutions. Working together with you, they ensure that the recommended solution will function properly with the software that was chosen, performing tests and setting baselines for solution compatibility.
Locking down revisions from a hardware or software perspective is critical when dealing with performance products. When creating a build document CIARA’s NPI team specifies what version of a component has been tested and is listed as acceptable on the customers AVL (Approved Vendor List). During our multiple QA inspections, if a violation is encountered, the unit will be listed as noncompliant and removed from the production line. CIARA makes sure that at all levels of production, components are in compliance with the approved vendor revision so that our customer receives consistent products.
