The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 schemes are international codes of practice which promulgate the ISO 9001 international standards for quality management systems and the ISO 14001 international standards for environmental management systems. Year after year, CIARA successfully passes the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 certifications. A 2011 survey from the British Assessment Bureau showed that 44% of ISO certified corporations won new business and that these certified organizations achieved superior return on assets and better customer satisfaction compared to otherwise similar organizations without certification.
C-TPAT

C-TPAT

The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a supply chain security program led by U.S. Customs Border Protection (CBP) and focused on improving the security of private companies' supply chains with respect to terrorism. CIARA, C-TPAT accredited, is less subject to customs inspections, and will be routed to the front of customs lines when they do need to be inspected, enjoy a reduced number of inspections resulting in reduced border times with an emphasis on self-policing, not customs verification and is eligible to apply for FAST expedited release program.

WEEE and RoHS

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) is the European Community directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) which, together with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC set collection, recycling and recovery targets for all types of electrical goods.

CIARA has partnered with some of the most established “Clearing House” across the world for the disposal of its electronic equipment (servers, appliances, PCs, Laptop, etc…). a few years ago, CIARA established an infrastructure for collecting WEEE, in such a way that the users of CIARA’s equipment from private households or corporation have the possibility of returning WEEE. Also, customers are compelled to use the collected waste in an ecologically-friendly manner, either by ecological disposal or by reuse/refurbishment of the collected WEEE.
